Not Interested

It is very difficult to get Keeta interested in ANYTHING that is a toy for birds. I have switched her playgyms several times, changed toys, etc. She does like to nibble on her boing. But her favorite pastime is waddling to the narrow space between the couch and desk and hanging out back there. It is bird-proofed (no wires, etc.) so nothing really for her to DO back there except hang out. She does like exploring, chewing on furniture while exploring ... sigh

RE: Not Interested

Sometimes the cheapest things we keep around the house are more fun to birds than the expensive toys we buy such as phone books. I have yet to find a bird that doesn't love destroying them.

Drill a hole and put string through it and hang off of a play gym or inside the cage or rip pieces out and weave it in between the bars of the cage or place inside a toy bucket. :)

Charlie is quite the same. He much prefers the typical household items such as a box of tissues and pretty much anything he can rip into as thousand pieces. Emot60

Ran out of phone books so the new hit has been paperback books bought at Goodwill for 50 cents! Can't beat the price and takes them quite a while to destroy!

haha. Good idea with the paperback books! You're not letting them read those trashy romance novels, are you? LOL.

Our Christmas cards barely make it out the envelope before they get destroyed!
