this will be our second cross-country move in less than 12 months! i have been invited to apply for a big-deal fellowship with an enthusiastic sponsoring laboratory in DC. the take-home message is to make plans to move in july-august, because even though i have to write a proposal and all that stuff, i am a particularly desirable candidate and they really want to bring me on board.

it's a good move, and major prestige with a major pay raise, but yikes. i am tired of moving!

Moving is such a hectic thing to do. I love to explore a new place, but I hate packing up everything and then unpacking again. Plus finding a place to live is always tricky for us with dogs! Hope the move goes smoothly. Sounds like a great opportunity for you. :-)

sorry to hear you are having to pack it all up and move again. It can be such a dreadfully stressfull to do. But on the bright side your bettering your self and family which is always a plus. Good luck with your endevor.
